Welcome to 883 Air Commodore Leonard Birchall RCACS. The Canadian Cadet Organization is one of the largest federally sponsored youth organizations. It consists of the Air, Army, and Sea cadet programs. The organization is open to all youth aged 12-18 who come from all walks of life. 

Cadets learn a variety of subject matter including citizenship, leadership, team work, fitness and various other life skills. This is done through many different, fun, and challenging training activities and exercises. In particular, Air Cadets also learn the principles of aviation and can earn their glider or power pilot license through scholarships. 

883 RCACS parades on Wednesday evenings 1830-2130hrs at Randall P.S. in Markham, ON. See the Join Us page for more information on joining and www.cadets.ca for more information on the cadet program.

Admin Night!
Our Admin night will be on 13 Sept, the location will be at Armadale Community Centre (2401 Denison St, Markham). This will be mandatory for all returning cadets. This will be on a drop in basis, from 1830-2030hrs. Each cadet will take approximately 15 minutes and should bring a parent/guardian with them. Cadets should arrive in appropriate civilians with any uniform parts they need exchanged (make sure shirts and pants are washed). 

There will be a $120 registration fee ($60 assessment fee + $60 lottery book). The SSC will accept cheque and cash. Cheques can be made payable to '883 A/C Leonard Birchall Sqn SSC'

First Training Night
Our first training night will be on 20 Sept back at Randall P.S. We will be accepting new applications at this time as well.
